Subject says it all really, anyone ever tried getting a discontinued model such as the fortress through the custom shop?

I don't think so, but it depends.

I got a FOrtress after they went out of production, but only because they still had a dozen bodies knocking around the factory. I don't think they would build a body shape they no longer produce.

If the Corvette Proline has gone out of production, you would still be able to get that I reckon, as you could order a Corvette Standard with an alternative body wood (flamed maple) and different pickups.electronics or whatever. [EDIT: now seen confirmation that it HASN'T gone out of production]

I don't think you could get a Fortress any more. If they agreed, it would cost way above its market value to produce.

Luckily the Pro Line isn't beeing discontinued. I think you could get them to build you any body shape you wanted. It just costs alot more :(. They probably still have the stencils for the Fortress so it wouldn't be as expensiv as a completly new body shape. A Fortress 6 would indeed be something to behold.

Hello there. I'm sorry for not answering this before, but here are the facts. We still have some Fortress bodies left and the Fortress as a Custom Option was discussed and it can now be ordered through the Custom Shop. But do it fast, quantity is limited.

I would like to add that this is the Original Warwick (Not RockBass) version of the Fortress including the Fortress One, Fortress Masterman and Fortres Flashback.

Feel free to contact the Custom Shop about it at [email protected]
