Can this happen?

Well, not to get a brand new style of a bass, no. But you can get a custom shop bass. An excisting shape (Corvette, Streamer, Thumb, Infinity, Vampyre, Buzzard, Stryker etc.) and decide woods in body neck and fingerboard. Electronics, pickups, pickup placement. Different finishes and a lot more!
 
I think it should be. If you check out the Buzzards in the CS gallery, you see some JE signature basses as CS models. But maybe there are "strict rules"................ 8)
 
I've seen a black high polish Jack Bruce CRB with blue Leds when I went to Markneukirchen last year, so I guess that yes, it's possible...

Thanks for asking. No it is possible, decision from Hans Peter Wilfer himself. Jan you are right, we made one CRB in black high polish, but it was not a Custom Shop, because high polish finish is a standard option...
 
It´s a very nice model indeed! It was special made for our 25th anniversary(dots inlays and led colour are different form the regular Signature Model). But this is a clear decision, we don´t build custom shop basses upon a CRB Signature model.

there was a discussion a while back about whether it was possible to get a solid CRB, or a five string version....................I guess we can put those ideas in the bin.................Hehe, good thing..............signature models shouldn't be changed too much. :D

It's amazing how this finish gives the bass such a bada$$ look, whereas the original is really boutique looking. I love it. :D

Signature models shouldnt be changed at all.
 
basically the Jack Bruce signature as an inlay on the body and the Leds on the side of the Fretboard...
