Butterfly style

I was playing my Streamer the other day when I looked out the window and noticed a butterfly on my Hydrangea bush. When I was done practicing I looked out again and the butterfly was still there, but looked a bit different. I went outside to investigate and saw this:

With a worldwide decline in the population of pollinating insects , it's great to see improvement in my own garden. 8:
 
Beautiful butterflies and an awesome photo. You should send it into National Geographic.
 
Hey Guys,

Thanks for the kind comments about the butterfly photo. I could not determine the gender of the Red Admiral butterflies, but after they were done with their business I noticed they went to separate leaves (for a cigarette I suppose :d) , then after awhile one flew off (the male I would guess :d). But seriously, I have quite a few butterflies that frequent my garden as we have alot of pollen bearing plants. Hopefully this summer will be a good long season, and I will have more chances to photograph the wildlife here on the English Rivera.
 
My garden's full of funnel web spiders & once a year,cicada shells.

seriously: nice pic, mate! (would be much greater with boobs, ya know? ;) )

Sydney funnel webs are reputed be the nastiest spiders on the planet. Bet the pest control guys there are busy, and make some good dosh.
 
Hey Greg, I would trade the weather and the lifestyle with ya in a heartbeat, but killer spiders no thanks. Stay safe bud.

OMFG !!! I just googled this and I was like "aaaaaargh" !!! I HATE spiders !!! I wouldn't be able to live in a house where there are such horribles things in the garden...


Do you really have THAT many ???

Maybe the word,"full" wasnt the best description.I've lived here for about 15 years,& seen 2 iirc.I was just tryin to sound tough.:)
Most people go their entire lives without ever even seeing one mate.It's like they're in your garden,but ya gotta be very fortunate,or unfortunate,to crass paths with it.If ya do,simply stepping in it,with your shoes on,will end it.
My garden has loads of spiders,some of them are quite big & ugly,but they're no real threat unless you're doing something really stupid,like antagonising it with a stick.
Dont let the world's deadliest critters put you off coming to Australia mate.We might have alotta nasties,but nothing to be afraid of.
