Yo.
While changing strings the the old Warwick/Schaller M4 type tuner/machinehead just broke as I strung it up. Now I am unsure whether to buy a new set or just replace the one. The bass is my Streamer stage II from 1989.

In the Warwick store, just a single gold tuner costs 32,90 Euro, and then 39 Euro in shipping. For some reason Norway is the most expensive country to ship to. (Neighbour Sweden is 15 euro....)
So around 63 euro for a tuner! This will get VAT/Customs when it enters Norway, so that's x25% + the customs fee.

Now we are up to 98 Euro for 1 tuner...

I am wondering whether to buy another full set locally, another type. It can't really be more expensive, what do you think?

Hi Raimond,
I guess you can find schaller M4 in Norway cheaper than this... Not Warwick branded, but still, same tuner.

Drowning in schallers do you need left or right?

Schlobo came through, thanks bass bro. I now strung this fretless Streamer up with piccolo strings, crazy sound :)
