Blagging a gig with Down

I had a look at my local venues site, and they have Down playing, but no support listed. The ticket's say +special guests, so I've asked if we can open for Down.

Who reckons we'll actually get it? :?:
 
woah, hope you get the contract. If you get it it's gonna be a great chance for you to pierce in the industry
 
Well its only a local gig, but it should definitely help with all our other local gigs.

We had a gig with Deathstars in the same City as this one, but that was mostly filled with kids wanting to hear goth music. So it only helped a little.

We shall see.
 
There is no deal involved. We'll probably get £30 diesel money and that will be that till the next decent sized gig we can worm onto.

We are however recording next week and there will be a few more sessions after to get a 5 track demo to a sellable standard, and then we are gonna just post to lots of labels in the uk and europe and see what happens.

We are going to build up for this year and hopefully just push next year. This talk is giving me itchy feet. :!:
