Black the head!!

My Warwicks are in the same stock head, black wood I guess(maybe ebony).

I saw some pics from the Warwick web site, those warwick player...they show their bass with pure black head, it may adjusted by photoshop but I really like my bass in very black head, my warwicks should looks like that when they are new but after years, the wood of the head become grey...

Is there any way to make it looks darker??

I don't think the headstock is laminated with some sort of black wood (e.g., ebony)...I don't think it's wood at all..but I'm sure someone here will be kind enough to give us an authoritative answer ;-) once you know what it is for sure, the solution to the fading problem should be evident.
 
Its a composite plastic called Wilferite I think... not wood! Its the same material they crafted Jan II's and that they do craft Jan III's out of. I like to oil mine, keeps it dark! Try applying a coat of lemon oil. :)
