BB Thumb V. Fretless Thumb BO?

Alright im in market to upgrade my rig and iv found a couple thumbs within budget but unsure on the decision.

I'm really wanting some form of a thumb5 because im currently playing in a post-hardcore band but havnt been able to find one i can afford just yet buuut these two basses are kinda swaying that search.

so first off, I have no experience with a fret less but always have wanted one just haven't had a chance for one, and what better to get a Thumb for the first one eh?

but then there's the Bleach Blonde, i also haven't played to many basses with maple necks or much maple as it is.

I'm just looking for alittle feedback because im completely stuck on this choice

Some PK-esque thoughts I've thunk on your behalves:

I, too, prefer BO for FL. Also, I don't know what "post-hardcore" means ...
but I know that many genres whose 'descriptive' name includes the string
"h a r d" use way too much stage volume to allow FL to be played in tune.

BO is very practical for FL. You can shim the socket to tweak the angle,
and if you wanna sand the neck you just take it off and easy job.

If you cannot hear your own stage sound clearly, you cannot play FL in
tune. It's also good to be able to hear reference instrument, like a KB.

If the "post-hardcore" genre does not require playing in tune, maybe cuz
if the audience is stoned, or deaf, or you MAKE them stone deaf, or if cuz
it's some kinda punk-type sound, then just get blank plank FL and have
at it. Personally, regardless of individual tone preference, I would avoid a
Thumb for FL, for ergonomic reasons. With FL, I want my neck to "float",
like helium, in my left hand. Thumbs are not known for that quality. If I
woke up some morning and found that a Thumb had moved in with me,
and if I found it had GREAT tone for FL, then I'd put a horn extender on
it, to float the neck, and play the bjeebers outa it

OK. Seems like playing FL in tune will be next to impossible ....
but the question is still open as to whether 'in-tune' is required.
