Bassline basses?

Today I found the website of Bassline basses, which is a small manufacturer from Germany. I found the shape of their "Worp" model very interesting and so I downloaded a video they had. I really love the tone, and what's more interesting is that it sounds a lot like warwicks, as the one in the video is made of bubinga. Does anyone know these basses/have experience with them?
 
Yes, have experience and sell them. Not really the same tone "live" as the Warwicks, very much because of different electronics and PU's and usually different woods as well. Very good craftmanship though. / mats
 
check out windmill,they build some very nice basses & guitars out of Germany too. :wink: that'll cost ya a Heineken 6 pack mats,or some of that nice Czech Budweiser you guys told me about,man I can't friggin wait for sept.07. :D
 
Yes, I want to try Windmills but it's a little difficult in Greece... and I don't see any dealers in Amsterdam or Berlin (where I'll be in a month or so)
 
Mats is the man to see for that brand dragonlord.or uncle windmill as he's known to his groupies. :P
 
Nice of you guys but I would rather not market other basses than Warwick here, hope you understand. And talking about Warwicks I have sent an inquiry for a shortscale Vette with birdseye poplar top and Hipshot Tremolo to be used as piccolo, what do you guys think about that???

I've never seen a Hipshot tremolo, just the Kahler varities...Sounds killer to me. I love birdseye poplar too!! Consider me jealous. :mrgreen:

Well, you've got plenty of killer basses for me to be jealous of anyway. How do you like the Phil Jones Briefcase??
 
The Briefcase is not very powerful but the sound is a killer, very hard to describe, have to try one to understand. It's perfect for small gigs and accomodates any bass and make them show their real potential soundwise. I sold my EBS Drome in order to get this and me and Marcus 8Marcbass) tested all the new basses on it with stunning results. Marcus has also bought the suitcase and is waiting for his extra cab, will be interesting to test it...
 
Yeah, if you want to refurnish and have a complete house makeover, thats the way to go, they are extremely po :lol: powerful
