Hello ppl

I need your advice
what should i get to plug on my bass to produce Sax and Trumpet sounds with great quality
i dont mean "something" like trumpet but 99% closest to the real thing
some ppl told bout Pandoras box and boss gt-10b
since cant test them cause cant find a store round my hometown that have them
can you suggest something so i can cross my fingers and buy it ?

ty in advance

Hm... GT10b won`t get you there. I would instead have a look at the MIDI-pickups and see, if you can get some MIDI-device with your desired sounds.

hmmm
by MIDI-pickups you mean to change the current setup, by replacing the factory pickups with midi ones?
or you mean something like the Roland G(something 55) thing were you put the midi pickup near the bridge without any holes?

i thought that gt-10b wont do something like that cause didnt find anything close to that at specs pdf

As a trombone player, I'm just asking myself, why you'd want that?

I never thought of trying to sound like a bass, let alone a guitar, when playing the trombone, nor it'd have interested my wind instruments playing bandmates...

Although, even if at best you had something coming vaguely close, it'd lack the warmth, phrasing, breathing that caracterize the instrument's sound... IMHO

Why not trying learning the new instrument?

Why?

WHY???

2 jobs atm 6 days per week
2 hours min per day rehersals
so there is no time for a new instrument, i will try trumpet in the near future but cant do this right now

anywayz to your question, i need to add some sax & trumpet parts to a song and since i cant find a "real" person to do this for me i need to find something to emulate it

what about a cheap midi keyboard + software?
Would be much easier, imo - and less expensive for sure.

Alexandre is right, I don't think you can come even close. Hard to mimic the phrasing...

Well problem solved
got a fender strat with roland gr20gk on it from a friend
and did the basic pattern of the wind instruments
tbh sounds pretty amazing :P
gonna fix the drum pattern and upload it soon
