Bad Timing

Talk about bad timing. Just found out that there will be a talent scout looking for a modern rock band to play a part in a TV show that may end up being shot in the town where I live. Apparently there will be a "battle of the bands" type situation. Only problem is that it's this weekend which is also my brother's wedding so I'll be out of town. :| Our guitarist thought about weaseling up to the guy and handing him a CD but we don't have anything near demo quality yet and we don't want to give him the rough versions of our songs.

Jeff, the guitarist wouldn't be effective anyway. The guitarist's girlfriend or sister may help, though.

Would have loved to play in the contest but we're just not ready. We have a lot of working material but it still needs some polishing up.
