To all members:
I would like to offer my sincerest apology to anyone who may have been offended by my comment regarding a video by Sasha yesterday. My feeble attempt at humor was poorly executed and, as a result, largely misinterpreted and deemed offensive by some members. The resulting mess was entirely my fault. I sometimes forget that many of us come from significantly differing cultures, with different languages, customs, and standards. What may be considered good-natured ribbing in one part of the world, could be considered highly offensive in another. My inference that Sasha was from another planet was motivated by the strange text-like characters that frequently appear in his videos. They look a little like the Thai alphabet, but I am fairly sure they are not from any language, that I know of anyway. Regardless, I should have known better. And when DiMarco called me out on my insensitive remark, I responded inappropriately. DiMarco had every right to react as he did, and I have no hard feelings toward him for doing so. He was simply performing his job as an administrator of this forum.
So again, my apologies to all, and especially, to Sasha and DiMarco. I hope we can all just put this unfortunate episode behind us and get back to enjoying "The Good Vibe Zone".
