Anyone want some mixing/mastering done?

After reading randy's thread this idea hit me.

I'm entering my third year at uni atm, i'm studying electronics and music technology. As part of the course i'm learning lots of recording and studio techniques. Now recording is cool, heck i have lots of fun mics and things to play with and all that. My issue i've got is i wish to learn how to mix tracks well and master them.

The best way to really learn is to mix and master tracks. I'm not after any advice as such just the material to practice with.

So I would like to offer my services to mix and master any recordings you guys have. This would be free of charge (obviously) as by letting my mix and master your stuff you'd be helping me out. All i ask is if you use the tracks you credit me!

If you've got any rough recordings, even if they have been mix/mastered already but are happy for me to play with them i would also really appreciate it.

If anyone wants anything mastered or have recordings they can let me master, either drop me a pm or reply here.

p. s. as for how to get the files to me, email can work if you don't mind me mastering with compressed files - not ideal but i can work with it. If there is a lot of interest though and guys wanting full uncompressed usable files (more ideal case for everyone) i might look about getting a filehosting account for individuals to upload to, so i can work with the uncompressed files. - ofc your welcome to host them yourself if you want too though, just for those who might want me to work but can't host files.

We recorded a track in my bedroom a few years back, the quality is fair (considering the 'studio') but i'm happy to send you a copy of it for you to play with. It is drums, bass, 2 guitars and a few vocals.

I don't really mind what you do with it, so feel free to experiment. And as we're both UK based if you send me an address i can post it on CD if that's easier.

Man this is old but i might be able to upload some WAV's from some songs ive already mixed and let you have a go at em?
If are still looking for practice?
i have a few different things you could mess with.

Rapidshare works for me, any hosting site is fine really, its up to you for whats easiest.

This whole thing has had to be put on the back burner atm due to my course really kicking off. Over Xmas i think i'll get a chance to actually sit down and try my hands at this. So yes I am still looking for stuff to give it a go but i've got to find some time to actually do it!
