Anyone use the MXR Bass Envelope Follower?

I heard a few videos with the MXR bass envelope filter, and I like how it sounds in the recordings. Here's one:

Anyone here use it? Impressions? Noisy as hell and muddy in real life, or as squeaky clean as in the vids?

I got one, it is very good. Envelope fitering that is touch sensitive goes beyond autowah. I absolutely love this pedal!
