Nobody one-ups Ned Steinberger. Those beloved Streamers are
his design from the Spector NS basses. Even if you feel that Wick
may have one-upped Spector, Stu Spector isn't Ned Steinberger.
Ned designed the foundation that both Spector and Wick still use.
As to the Rail, when I had my chance I took a pass. It just looked
too unplayable, and too complex for a low budget device. I play
Steinbergers and various Steinberger-inspired headless basses,
but they hafta be real players, not just curiosities.
And nope, I am not GASsing for the Nobby. And altho the Triumph
has my attention, in the end, for both those genres, I'm with Ned.
