Ive had this NT Streamer here lying around for a while, it has EMG pickups and is from the Warwick/Spector era. Im not sure of what year it is from and i wondered if anybody here might know :D
 
That's one nice piece of vintage 'wick you got there buddy! I can't exactly tell the year, but I believe it's one of the first models. Maybe a '83, '84 model. You might have the oldest bass on the forum mate! :shock: Hmmm.. let's hear what the experts have to say about this. Florin??? :D
 
It's a 1984/1985 Streamer.

Someone changed the tuning machines' angle.
The correct position for that Streamer would be with the machines perpendicular to the headstock
 
Hey, good to see you came over here - welcome to the family!

You might try looking in the control cavity for a serial number, but the top edge of your headstock has a number stamped on it (320), but it doesn't fit the format of the usual Warwick serial number, so it's hard to pin an exact year on the bass. The early serial numbers were a different format if I understand correctly, so your best bet is to email Warwick to see if they can check their database for that number on your headstock:

It might well be that this bass has no year in the serial number.Some just have the number,without the year after it.The machine heads have unfortunatly been changed.They should be at 90 degress.
 
And some just have no serial number at all. The tuners have been changed too, these are gotoh, or goth copies, the bass had Schaller in the first place.

And Mr Rabble is right as usual, it is one of the earliest Streamers. 84, or 85.

As far as I know the licensing took effect from 1985 on, so early ´85 would be my guess. Apparently the first Streamers were mostly just (consecutively?) numbered as opposed to the number/year system that came along a little later. Fine bass by all means!

Thereìs no need to change them (actually they could already be the original ones).

The "wrong" thing is their position:
 
Mr Rabble, the tuners in your picture are the original Schaller tuners, and his bass have the new Gotoh, (or Gotoh style ;-) ) Tuners. They were changed....
