Any funk players around?

I hear a lot form metal players, but not much from people playing funk. Just curious if anyone shares my love of it.
 
yep all about the funk here, but i do have a special place for every genre.
 
Was born with funk and will die with funk / mats
 
I worked with a girl called Carla Funk once.

No joke.

She was cool. How could you not be with that name?
 
I'll actually play (almost) anything... I'm playing rock now... but funk is the music for me!
 
I don't think anyone attracted to the sound of Warwick is devoid o' funk...

...and I get the impression from everyone here that we're not those dudes who think that just because you're slapping, you're automatically "funky".... :roll:

All you need is the funk! At least according to Nils Landgren & Funk Unit.
 
Yep, Another Aussie Funkateer over here.. Although I try and keep myself open to anything and everything.... but Funk is the one true love.
 
Well, I have some old Leroy Burgess-records lying around, and Infectious Grooves is running now and then....

But funky stuff for me must be Cannibal Corpse at their most groovy. 8)
