I shall by known as Gman!

The TK276 username is connected to my other hobbie and doesn't really relate to basses and doesn't sound that friendly, so Ollie changed it for me.

I did think about 'Squiggle' but that's been used by some short arsed bloke!

PS - a prize goes to anyone that can guess 'the other hobbie'.

Although I have to say I'm not much of a conference goer....more charity events and PR for Lucasfilm stuff...so not totally geeky!

In the film there is a reference to the stormtrooper that got 'mugged' by Han Solo. The operator refers to him by TKnumber, so hence all the registered stormtroopers have TK numbers. Sad but true!

I love Star Wars, great costume BTW. I'd bet we all have 'geeky' hobbies. I make models, got a Fine Molds Millennium Falcon waiting for me. Also have a 1/350th Polar Light Enterprise A, actually have 2, but one's staying in the box, sealed, since they don't make it anymore. I've also scratchbuilt the Betty from Alien Resurrection, and am currently working on the 2002 edition of the Time Machine.

I play Counter strike source and have watched all the stargate episodes (the 10 seasons, 22 or 20 episodes per season depending on the season, 42 minutes per episode) in about 3 months. I did that and I was going to school and working during this time... God that was geeky

P.S.: your costume is very nice btw

I'm quite the *NIX nerd... I've been playing with Linux and FreeBSD since 2000 or so... And just recently dug a computer out of the trash and getting back into Linux again... Yes... I dug a computer out of the trash, People around here throw out theyre old computers when something as small as a cdrom breaking happens. I pull them out, Replace a few parts, boot them up install a fresh copy of the OS of my choice and I have a new computer :)

Speaking of which, I just found an old Motorola server/router (OLD) It's the size of a mid sized computer tower :D
 
hmmm geeky hobbies...i must admit to loving warhammer 40k, although i no longer collect due to all my money going towards bass :wink:

probably somthing i'll take up again when im rich and famous :wink:
