A few monthz ago while I was playing at a gig da screw(z) from one of da pupz of my Infinette let/came loose ... and that meant that da pup was pushed against da stringz and that made da further playing impossibru ... fortunately I found a piece of wood on da floor (a match) that I put inbetween da pup and da body to keep da pup away from da stringz ... anywayz, it still holdz and who knowz, maybe this trick can help other bass playerz when they encounter da same prob ... I took sum picz of it thiz afternoonz so U can see wut I mean ... 8:

This happened with my NEW korean Reverso. And this meant I could not solve the problem by blending to any other pickup. Because the bass was new to me I had my Preci with me and continued with the Fender. That was an abarrassing moment. You proudly present your new gear and after two songs you have to change to the former one.

The human brain is an amazing feat of engineering 8:

What? You mean next time we use human brain to fix the problem? Hmm, from the guitar guy or from the sound engineer? I guess we would need both to get enuff material together. The gaps are big, the brains are small!

Ouch! If it's an important gig like a wedding etc, I always bring another bass. You never know - strings break etc

If it's a not so important gig, beg the other bands for a bass!

Ooooooh lets create a setlist for divorce parties then!
Here's a nice song to start with...
