exactly... I figure if it plays beautifully with no strings, man I bet it plays like a dream with strings.

and I always wanted a base. I think with all the bass players in the world, being a base player may make me unique.

I was just a little surprised they didn't throw the word "rare" in the description. Because any base that plays beautifully without strings is a rare find indeed.

Well that remarkable base, that plays beautifully without even having strings on it sold for $456 + $10 shipping. I think it was a good deal, but it was more than I could afford, so unfortunately I won't be able to tell you how incredible it is once strings are added.

Perhaps its new owner will join this forum and tell us all about it.
