I'm thinking of more mods to do at the moment :P

With my schedule looking like it's going to be busy I don't think I'll have as much time though :P

Since we got a new drummer we are practicing alot more, plus I'm now giving bass lessons as well. So my bass is being put to alot of use :P
 
And, Casey. I'm gonna say it again. You should SERIOUSLY consider taking some cash for mods on other guys basses. When your schedual allows it ofcourse. It could be a nice way to cope with GAS, you know! :twisted:

I've been thinking about it :P My band members have been talking to a guitar shop owner lately and I may have a luthier job coming up soon. He has some cheapo basses in stock and wants me to go in and mod the heck out of them. :) Should be fun and I can make a little extra money on the side. Which will be nice, Considering I'm losing my job at the end of May.
 
hey Casey can you give us sstep by step instructions on that neck filing?

did you remove the neck or did you leave it in there to do the sanding?

did you apply anything else once finished?

Now if only i lived in the US, i'd definately pay you to do that on my $$, and help ya pay for that hardware and flight case :)
 
Casey, the luthier job sounds great! If you go ahead don't forget to post some pics of what you do to the cheapo basses... maybe we could have a sticky called "Casey's Corner"! :wink:

Thats a seriously pro looking mod...some of the older BO models (my streamer included) have a rounded board like that - sexy times!

to answer your question, no.. it never stops w/you :p and it shouldn't.. you're good! ppl should PAY you for these ideas! *cough* w/like $$ or.. warwick stuff, cuz they keep stealing your ideas... :p
