Hi Guys!

Hope summer's treating you well wherever you are. My name's Jonathan, and I recently had the pleasure of taking part in a most intriguing project. This is a VideoSong (where all takes of all instruments are filmed whilst being recordedת and are then edited into a clip displaying them side-by-side) by an obscenely talented duo titled "Project RnL" - Eyal Amir on keyboards, compositions & arrangement, and Ray Livnat on Vocals & Lyrics. Their music is somewhat the bastard love child of Gentle Giant & Mr. Bungle.
The pair previously released 2 renditions of more familiar songs - Hanson's "mmmbop" and Blur's "Song 2", which are both insanely original and very recommended (though i myself and my streamer, or any other Warwick for that matter, is recorded on them), and are now releasing an original song, titled All Stuck-Ups, which puts my puny little SLX on display... :)

Here's the link - Enjoy & tell me what you thought!

This recording also features Alon Tamir on guitars and Doron Giat on drums & percussions.

May it always be 100Hz & below

Jonathan

Hi Jonathan, welcome to the forum, the vid looks and sounds real professional! so you own a Streamer Stage I?

Great Song and Band, Friend. You remind me of that actor, Sacha Baron Cohen. Beautiful Streamer, too!

Very Zappa-ish as well?

I have to say that while it was a cool montage and competent musicians and all, I didn't enjoy it at all. Could barely listen to a minute. Too theoretic for my taste. Reminded me of SOAD but sped and pitched up.

I thought it was excellent. Not crazy about the slow parts, beside the bass work, but really weird and good. Great job.

It's a streamer LX, not a stage I, and it is the apple, the pear and the flame maple of my life... :)

And as for the Sasha Baron Cohen's resemblance - I have only my people's tendencies for conspicuous snouts to thank for that... :)

Reminds me of Mr. Bungle!

I like your tone and playing. You guys mesh well!

Duh, You mentioned Bungle. I should learn how to read.

How did you have the Streamer set up?

I fell for elixir about a year ago, and has not been able to fall back to anything else...
This one has a .40 super-light set, with .125 at the B string, relatively high action...

The was very interesting - very Zappa-ish, but different and original too. Nice work!

I really enjoyed that! Definitely a style of music I enjoy, and it's definitely a talented group of individuals. Well done!
