They had a Fernandez bass at my old school. Does that say enough?

It was really, really, really bad.
Worst tone ever, even when I brought some semi-dead EB strings from home and did my best to set it up.
 
These are really well built and sounding basses :) Don't worry 'bout the horror story by Benjamin, back in the day Fernandes made really great stuff!

They were making budget crap for a while and have now started making some pretty good basses again (Trujillo from Metallica plays one).
 
That's a bit steap..they're worth it, but mostly for collectors.
 
i was thinking for something to take to school, or for a piccolo or tenor bass
