near me. Im putting up my 30th Anniversary Stingray up for sale to fund most of the beast. I played the thiing for about an hour tonight and I just cant believe how much I love it.

I had the honour of playing one a month ago (it was gone a week later  ), a 5-string version with a very distinct grain to be exact. I can only agree with you that Warwick outdid themselves on that one. The finish feels awesome and the pickups are great. I had to get used to the configuration at first but it works wonders. I say that if you get the chance to grab one do it!

I absolutely love the sound of that bass. I wold sell my Bleached Blonde to finance it if I had to!

ok, I need help. I found a Fortress One for sale for 500 bucks. What would yo guys go for? the Fortress or the Dirty Blonde? Im thiking more on an exclusivity scale right now as I am turning into mini-mala and snatching up limited and hard t find basses, lol.

now Im REALLY torn.

I gotta go with the Fortress on this one. $500 is a smokin' deal even if it needs some work. ~M~

This is the Fortress bass:

Well, in that case... Perhaps you should go with the 06 Ltd and just send me the contact info for the seller of that Fortress so I can dispose of it properly and it won't bother anybody else ever again. Yeah bro, I'd do that for ya to keep you from making a big mistake...  ~M~

Fortress, the thumbs will be more readily available I think...

Alright guys, Fortress it is. I pick it up tomorrow night :-)

I figured 500USD was a KILLER deal for a Fortress One. I was going to use my Guitar Center card that has 12 months zero interest and put a deposit on the 2006 LTD with cash, and then pay off some every month until I was low enough to fit it on the card. That was my other option (I am good with my credit, I couldve probably paid all the cash i wouldve needed to at once if I wanted to), but I figure that i can find than Thumb again, and since I want a custom Shop Thumb in the next year, I can do similar pickup setup and woods (since I want a painted finish)

Fortress, YOU'RE MINE

Well what are you waiting for? Add it to your sig. :D And wow... 500 bucks for a fortress....
