Awesome fortress! ive always dug the shape. I must admit, my jaw dropped when i saw that broken neck.
Even just to grind away the serial number and the W even the head-stock shape to never resemble a Wick ever again. oh well

That is awesome RIP! The Fortress body shape has always been my favorite. And I am with you on preferring the modern neck shape. That seems like a reasonable price for the new neck. Especially if it came with the hardware. A brass JAN3 for a 5string is over $100 by itself.
