Hey,
I recently replaced my Ultimate Support gs100 due to a failure of the locking mechanism with a Stagg a-frame stand (SG-A108).
My corvette std fits securely to the foam supports cradling the bass, but the point of the 'A' comes up to about 2 inches on the neck of the bass. The bass therefore sits at quite a angle (in comparison to pictures i've found on the web where the 'A' tip supports the body of the instrument) and I'm concerned about how this might stress the neck.
Is this equipment paranoia?
