It ain't the original Fortress Flashback.
The pickguard had been added
 
yeah right, i've always seen flashbacks with lipstick pickups, i guess they were factory installed? :?
 
that's not a warwick fortress flashback.

it's a fortress bass that's been ruined (IMHO) with a "self made pearloid pickguard"...


a fortress flashback was actually sold with the lipstick pickups

i'd avoid this bass, it's a bit of a frankenstein
 
I don't really like Fortress basses. They're too non-Warwick, like the Katana.
 
actually... the fortress was the first warwick i owned... had a 5-string one in burgundy satin finish... was VERY nice... had a great sound!

sold it to a mate and wished i hadn't... he doesnt even play it anymore and won't sell it back to me! :D
 
Maybe you should concider a Custom Fortress as your next major investment :wink:
