95 Thumb 5 NT with bad Truss Rod

Can anyone recommend a good repair person that knows about the odd truss rods used in the older Warwicks? I have a 95 Thumb 5 NT with what seems to be a non-functioning and STUCK rod. I took the bass to the best tech in the Detroit area, he worked on it for a while, contacted the new Warwick owners for help (non existing help now that DBG doesn't own them anymore) and I'm stuck with a great bass with a neck that cannot be straightened. The rod cannot be removed and it's making me very sad to say the least.

HELP? ?

Can anyone suggest a pro that can deal with this?
