4X10 or 2X12

Looking to get a 1/2 stack What is better to run independetely and why?

I prefer the tightness of 10's. With four of 'em, you'll still get the low end extension but the sound should be a bit cleaner. I have a 2x10 combo right now that had a 4x10 with it, but I only got the 2x10. I'm thinking of adding a 2x12 later to have the best of both, but for now, the 10's do just fine. ~M~

2x10" for me

If you are not one of those low maniacs which boost instead of cutting highs or/and play basses with a F#/C#

A good designed 2x10" cab would give you a balanced sound in compact package.

I voted 4x10" as I also prefer the 10" sound.

Jay,I think Eden have a new 2x12 cab.or it could be a 2x10,Dennis Michaels is a bassist/clinician/instructor that does Eden clinics & such.
