411 Pro Vibration Noise

Hey guys I need some expert advice here. My 411 Pro cabinet seems to have developed a vibration noise. It's more prominent on the lower notes, usually the E string. I had my guitarist help isolate the issue by lifting the cab off the ground temporarily while I played and also putting downward pressure on the cab while on the floor and both times it would make the vibration noise so it's definitely in the cabinet itself. It did however make less noise while he was holding pressure down on the top of the cab. I have to make sure all screws are tight yet but if that doesn't take care of it is there any advice you can offer or what to look for?
 
The first thing I'd do is check the external screws before diving in. Pop off the grill and make sure all the screws holding the speakers are nipped up tight - they're an allen key head with metal thread, and I have had them get a little loose before. You could use a single drop of loctite on them if you have the energy.

After you check they're all tight, play the cab before putting the grill back on. If it's still vibrating with the speakers done up and the grill off (of course you've checked other external screws (handles, back panel)) it's time to have a look inside.

Thanks for the info. I was also thinking it might be the speaker screws so like you suggest I'll start there first.

Yeah figured that much. Just tapping the excellent resources here to see if it may be a common issue. :)
 
All better. Speaker screws were the culprit. They were very loose. Nice simple fix. :)
