Hello to all football fans of the world. Another great season in Europe's gonna start. Who's your bet?

Of course, I am a lifelong fan of Arsenal and no matter what the results, I'm gonna support them. However, for the first time in many years I am rooting for a realistic chance for them to win the tournament.

Well. As a lifelong Liverpool supporter all I can say is... uh. We didn't belong there this season. Last season yes, this season no. Losing Suarez to Barca and Sturridge to injury meant our entire offense has been gutted. Balotelli even got injured. Daniel Agger leaving was also a blow - not the greatest defender ever, but really organised the back 4.

Perversely enough, I'm happy we dropped into the Europa League. I think we actually have a better chance of qualifying for the CL next season by winning the Europa League than doing well in the Premier League.

As for who's going to win it... Real Madrid are hot favourites, but the teams that can stop them are Barcelona (obviously), Bayern Munich and Chelsea. I have a feeling about Chelsea this season - they've been pretty much unstoppable in the PL (Newcastle notwithstanding) and Mourinho is a real sneaky one.
