Does anyone know of a reliable guitar valuation website? I've tried looking many times but I can never find anything. Thanks!!

Aside from maybe the Blue Book, there's not much. I would look at old sales on places like Ebay, GuitarCenter.com used section, talkbass, warwick forum, etc. and see what kind of prices people are paying.

I paid 1800 for my used 1998 SSII about 3-4 years ago. That's probably the low end of what it should sell for. I think a few hundred over that is still reasonable, but not over 2500 for sure.

A HP burst Stage 2 5 just recently was sold on ebay for arround 1200 Eur :-/

That's true but it might be enough to score me a decent engagement ring. I'm still day-to-day...but I want to see what offers I can get.

Man I saw the pics of your SSII from the "introduce yourself" thread, and I must say that bass is beautiful! I would imagine you could at least get over $2K for that. But it looks like a serious keeper! I would be very interested, but I'm afraid I may be in a similar situation in the near future, that is: selling one of my beloved for an engagement ring haha

Kelly Blue Book? Or is there one specifically for guitars?
