2001 vampyre nt

I have a vampyre nt bass, 2001. Natural oil finish, Mahogany/Birdseye top, Ovangkol neck, gold hardware. Not the body style of current model, looks more like a thumb bass. Anyone know what its worth?
 
A Vampyre that looks like a Thumb? Sorry, I don´t know what are you talking about.
 
THE SERIAL # ON THE WARWICK SITE STATES ITS A vAMPYRE NT. tHE BODY STLE IS NOTHING LIKE THE CURRENT MODEL, MORE LIKE A STANDARD WARWICK BODY STYLE. mADE IN 2001. i HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO FIND ANOTHER ONE TO COMPARE IT TO, ALL OTHER vAMPYRE'S HAVE A MORE METAL LOOK. bEAUTIFUL BASS BUT NOT MY STYLE, i'M MORE OF A FENDER GUY. Might sell. Thanks for any info.
 
Instead of yelling (writing in capital letters is the same here, in case you don´t know it), you should post a pic so we could know what are you talking about.

this is probably a streamette

the serial tool does not work for this model, does it have mirrored Precision pickups?

it is a rare model made only for the US in 2001 approx 70 instrumentes made

dunno what it is worth Warwick would tell you 5000K and you would probably get 1000:-)

Thats it! The bass looks the same, only difference I can see is mine has a stacked knob configuration for treble/bass. It does come up as a Vampyre when I enter the serial number on the Warwick site. Thanks! I'll try to up load a photo so you can compare.
 
Sorry, I don't know how to insert the photo. Not very computer savvy. If anybody can help, would be much appreciated.

Yes, that is a Streamette, and they sell for around 1K €/$.
 
it has a replaced EQ probably 3 Band the original is a 2Band MEC
 
Thanks for the info. I knew the original owner,he was a former student of mine. The stacked knob configuration was from the factory, he was a kid and didn't do any modifications to it. Sounds like this bass may be a one off or close to it. I'll probably post it on ebay closer to Christmas. Thanks again for the help.

I am pretty sure (99.9%->0.1 you never know:-) that this is not a factory set up, it might be moded by dbgoods
but still it is not original (no problem with wicks unlike with fenders)

interesting...the bass was purchased online new from Guitarworks, Greenwood, In., maybe they did the mod although I can't imagine why. It has a massive sound, huge tone differences. What did you mean by "dbgoods"? Thanks for all the info.
