Sold! 2 Streamettes

I have two Streamettes, was going to keep one of them so will let you guys possibly choose. Now that this ad finally shows up, maybe someone here wants one.

First is a natural Streamette. Three things to note. It has a bone nut, there is some white stuff at the top of the headstock, it doesn't look like it's gouged there at all and I didn't try hard to get it off, and there is a thumb wear mark near one of the pups and a little finish wear at that area. Other than that, a little wear but nothing bad. It has been gigged but looks great and plays and sounds like a champ. Right under 10 lbs. 1200

Second is a red Streamette. This was the one I was really going to hold on to as it is near new. One mark on the bottom near the bottom button is all I see. 1300.

Experts, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this the only known example of a red Streamette? There's the one Sunburst and this red one and the rest are natural.

If I'm not mistaken.
 
I am not sure if it is the only known red, I heard something like most were natural and a few colored (20?) but no breakdown on colors. Any info would rock!

I think it might be that there is only one factory Sunburst Streamette.

Best of luck with the sale! If I had the cash, this for me would be the #1 Wick deal out there right now. Really surprised these have not sold for so long eleswhere. Price is great.
 
Actually, I think I read somewhere Dana saying there is only. One sunburst one.
 
Correct. There was an old thread where Warwick official chimmed in and confirmed that.... I believe. And a not so old thread where Adz posted a pic of that Sunburst. Apparently it is still sitting in a shop somewhere, NOS, possibly Australia :eek: Crazy, if that's true.

Again, I think :lol:
 
Man I would take the natural one in a heartbeat to match the one I have, but I've got my free money tied up in a stingray 5

Do you have an estimate of the shipping costs to The Netherlands?
 
I'm not 100% sure but I believe with priority (which you can use) with USPS it's around the 150 usd mark? If that sounds good, I can actually get a quote if you're serious. 120-160 seems to be the range.
 
Yeah from what I know our Aus distributor has the sunburst one.
I wish I had the money for that red one... Would love a streamette.
 
I'm dropping these a little bit, as I'm trying to be consistent with what I'm accepting and basically want to post the bottom line here.

1100 for the natural, 1200 for the red.

Just acquired a SS1 5 that will be my primary wick.
 
The natural one is gone. I'll keep the red up for now as I basically play a SSI 5 string, but may take it down altogether soon.
