Hi everyone, I have a 1996 Streamer Stage I where the truss rod nut has been destroyed by using an extractor. The trussrod was stuck so I had to release it in order to pull it off. See photos. I see that same trussrod is 129€ now and maybe it is not even available.
Is there a way to get a replacement trussrod nut? The trussrod is ok, so replacing the nut should work.
Thanks in advance for your help

Hello and welcome aboard.

Let's see if any of our wiser/experienced fellas could bring some light on this.

Let’s hope so.
I would also add that i can’t find a similar trussrod on the official Warwick parts site. The only one that seems having the same length (635mm), and no T shape at the bottom, is that one: Warwick Parts 2-Way Truss Rod for Warwick Electric Bass

But it’s a two way trussrod (the original is one way) and i’m not sure it would fit the routing.
Seems like it will be very hard to fix this 96 bass, which is a great bass by the way.

Yesterday i went to a blacksmith, here in Milan (Italy), to ask if he can make the nut from scratch. He is trying but he said the thread on the bass is not a standard one and it’s a bit compromised to.

Does anyone know if there are third party trussrods that are still available on the market that can fit this bass?
