Up for sale is my Thumb which was originally owned by Sascha then sold to DemBoneZ.

It's in excellent condition apart from some minor buckle scratches on the back.

Pre amp has been upgraded to an 18v Aguilar obp-2 & sounds absolutely mighty.

I still have the original pre, pots & jack which will go with the bass.

Slim & fast Bubinga/Wenge neck which has some really nice grain too.

All the black hardware has been replaced with new stuff.

Happy to ship world wide in the soft case shown at the buyers expense.

Only looking to cover my cost on this which is $2200 AUD

Awesome bass here guys and Adam is a top bloke to deal with. Won't be disappointed with this one!
 
Yep, I looked at buying this before going ahead with my custom shop order - this bass sounds awesome!!

Question for the experts.... I should know this, as I love Thumbs, but what year did the Thumb NT's thumb (top horn) go from shorter to longer? This horn looks slightly shorter than my '04 & '06...but I may be wrong. Forgot what year the final change happened. Body shape looks ever so slightly different than mine.

Ya Schlo, I know the JD Thumbs had the different body shape and shorter horn, but I'm wondering if anyone knows what year the horn went from short to the length it is now? Even the '87 horn looks smaller to me.

Maybe late 80's? '87,'88, '89... Anyone remember?
