Hello, maybe someone here will have an answer to this question...my oldest bass is my 1990 streamer, but i also have a newer streamer, and i see the electronics are different on the 2 basses. most streamers i have been in contact with have the configuration of vol/pickup pan, treble, mid, and bass. this means the volume knob is stacked over the pan knob. my newer streamer has this set up. my 1990 bass does not have any stacked knobs. the volume knob IS push/pull but just not stacked over a pan knob. Did warwick go to the present configuration when they switched to MEC electronics and that is the answer to my question because I have Bartolinis? i would just then assume that since the brand of my pickups is different, that is why my knob configuration is different. if this is so, does anyone know exactly what the config on my 1990 bass is? i can't really figure it out. i am assuming my push/pull on the volume knob is active/passive, but i am not 100% sure what the other 3 knobs are. i would think it would be some variation of bass/mid/treble, but when i mess with the knobs, the effects each knob has on the sound are not so clearly defined as it is with the newer streamer set up. any input would be greatly appreciated! thanks!
