I love my Thumb NT 6, it is an incredible instrument in every way, the hand carved neck and tighter spacing make everything effortless, however it's 9.6kg with it's case, it's the old suitcase style one and the case weighs basically nothing, I imagine the bass itself is probably around 6+ kg...

I don't the year of this bass as it is en route to me at the moment. I saw it on guitar centers used site and bought it thinking I can return it if it isn't what I want or the repair is too pricey(unlikely). It seems to be an older model with the seperate battery compartment but I won't know...
