stand

I've got an old Quik Lok stand that doesn't fit my Thumb very well, the arms are just a tad too wide to hold the bass securely. Are there road-worthy "A" type stands you Thumby guys use that would fit the bill?

Hello, I'm new here, this is my first post. I havt two Thumb NT's, an '87 and a '00. I always wondered what the "JD" on the truss rod cover of my '87 Thumb stands for or means? I have tried to research this, but can't find the answer anywhere. Can anybody please tell me? Thanks.
