Hello,

I'm new here, this is my first post. I havt two Thumb NT's, an '87 and a '00.

I always wondered what the "JD" on the truss rod cover of my '87 Thumb stands for or means?

I have tried to research this, but can't find the answer anywhere.

Can anybody please tell me?

Thanks.

Dear Woolf,

the JD is standing for John Davis, he was the first Bass Player in the Nurenburg Area there after Hans Peter Wilfer (the founder of Warwick)
name the bass. This Name was change in 1986 or 1987 from JD to
Thumb Bass.

Thank-you Nicolas,

That's a great piece of information.

If anybody else can share anymore information with regards to the "JD" Thumb bass, I would love to hear.

Regards,
Woolf
