Does anyone know where to get satin chrome end pins from? The Warwick shop has everything avail in satin (bridge, machines etc..) except for end pins.

I was just looking at the new Warwick newsletter and the pics of the satin chrome hardware really grabbed my attention! I think I would like to swap out the hardware I currently have on my 5-string Corvette Active Bubinga...any suggestions where I can buy this stuff for a reasonable price?

This my have been brought up before but I was wondering if the custom shop will do oil, satin, or natural satin finishes on fretboards to match the body. I've seen a lot of cool looking flame maples that are dyed a color but the brown wenge (or sometimes ebony) fretboards seem to ruin the look...

What does it mean when someone gets a satin finished fretboard? Is there any other fretboard finishes besides natural, satin, and high polish? If so what are they like?

I've heard that finished basses take away from the body woods natural tone and I was wondering if a satin finish could affect tone in any way.

Hey chaps... It's all in the thread's title. If you look in the Custom Shop price list, you can read on the first page "it's better to have a finish on the maple fingerboard, to prevent the wood from an early"... Yeah but an early what ? The sentence is not complete ! So does (flamed)...

hey guys... I heard some dealers saying that it is not possible to get a real white satin finish through the custom shop, because it would need too much white colour to create a white finish. this would "kill" all wood structures...so in the end you would have a white HP finish with unpolished...

I recently discovered the new "Satin" finishes on the Custom Shop page. Can you (Ollie) maybe tell me a bit more about these finishes? If I order the clear satin finish will the wood be visible but feel like a matt finish? How much will this cost (I'm guessing a bit less than a high polish...
