Just separating this mod from my introduction thread so it is easier for people to find.
I like to mod my instruments so I decided to look for an alternative to the cast zinc inserts that were on my 3D bridge. I have used ABM guitar bridges in the past and think they are one of the best...
Hi guys,
I'm looking forward to buying a broadneck, 5 string streamer stage 1 bass from 1990. The seller states that he has lost a bridge saddle on the g-string, now my question is: are the bridge saddles available in the online shop the same as I would need for the 1990 bass?
Thanks in...

I bought a Warwick Corvette 5-string that I love to death! I was playing a show and the saddle part that is very small popped out on stage! The Guitar Center in Portland Maine where I bought it new has told me they can't get the part. I am stuck using a bass that does not come close to the tone...
Hi!
I'm desperately looking for a G string saddle replacement, as the former owner of my warwick corvette lost it. Instead I'm using a plastic saddle, that results not great at all for sustain... So does anybody know how can I finding a new original warwick saddle ?

More or less all the saddle screws that hold my E-string saddle in place have lost their thread and it is now impossible for me to tighten or loosen the saddle! And it's begun rattling and I can't tighten it!!! Is there anyway to get some new screws? Like a whole bunch to keep this from...
When I try to tighten the lock on the saddle of the d string, it will begin to become tight but then get really loose again. What I've done is just stop where it starts to get a little tight and then I left it. Will this affect anything on my bass. Will I end up having to send this back to...
Everytime I pluck my d-string, the piece of the saddle that the string on rests comes right with it. (See image below.) This is making it extremely difficult to play and if my string breaks, the piece goes flying with it as nothing is holding it in place. Can anyone help me out here?
I understand that saddles are adjusted so that string heights maintain the radius-of-curvature of the neck. Intuitively, I would expect that in order to achieve this, the bottoms of each strings should be equidistant to the *fret*, not the fingerboard. Seth, is this correct?
I want to know if warwick make a replacement for the tail piece so that it fits all gauges of b string. I have great trouble finding strings that fit my bass, due to the tight fit on bridge tailend. a while back lex sent me a link via msn, that showed a shop in australia selling replacement...
