Question..no sound output on Infinity NT

hi everyone...I own an Infinity NT(5 String) and have a problem with no sound output on the guitar....I put in a new 9 Volt battery...guitar cable good..amp fine...works with my other Thumb NT. is it possible it could be pre amp? Any suggestions on what could be wrong would certainly be...
