Hi guys, I just got my new Corvette Bubinga nd it is amazing!! However, I noticed that the bridge-end strap pin bends slightly when the weight of the bass hangs on the strap. Is it meant to be elastic? Is this potentially dangerous? If it's a problem what can be done? Thanks for your help...

I went to put my strap on today and i noticed the pin at the butt of the bass was bent at an odd angle. After closer inspection, i realized the screw wasn't bent, it had moved in the wood. so now i have an oval-esque hole where the screw goes. any advice on straightening it and making sure this...

The pin to which I attach my strap keeps coming unscrewed on my Thumb bass. The body wood is ovangkol. What's the best way to keep this from happening? I've contemplated coating the screw with epoxy and re-screwing, but I thought I should check with the experts here. Thanks!

I dont know if they are called that, but does anyone know where i can buy those strap pins that dont actually stick out of the bass but are rather in it, so that if you get strap lock they slide into the hidden strap pin. i dont know if that made sense.. but if it does to you then please reply...
