Im coming from a background of more traditional style 4 string bass guitars such as Fender and Musicman, but I faniced taking a look at a Warwick for my next bass.

Are the tuners (tuning machine) in our Warwick considered light weight?
I am trying to reduce the weight around the headstock area, are there tuners that fit with no alteration on our Warwick and also reduce weight?
Anyone use DR Long Neck Strings in light gauge (40-100's)? I am using 45-105's now, but I thought I would try a lighter gauge... any drawbacks? I assume a setup will need to be done after this change, correct?
