highpolish

I haven't posted here in a while, and I was thinking of duct-taping my bass. Now, for later on when I finally realise that this is retarded, will it be easier to take the duct tape off when there's the High polish finish or when it's sanded to Natural? I'm assuming High Polish, but second...
