Drop Tuning and String Choice on Rockbass Corvette Basic

Hi All, My first post on the forum. I'm planning to buy a 4-string Rockbass Corvette Basic 34" scale. I have a 5-string version already. Loving it. But I want to get the extra one for drop-C (CGCF) and drop-B (BF#BE). I'm going to put on new strings for the dropping. My choice of guages...

I'm starting to tune my 5-strings CGCFA#, just wondering if anyone can suggest what string guages would be best to use.

    C-string guage preferences?

All you 6-stringers out there How would you compare the 0.020" C-string (which comes with Black Label Medium Lights) with the 0.025" (which comes with the BL Medium set)? My Thumb (BO), bought used, came with a 0.035" C-string, which is not standard. I'm looking to switch it out. Thanks!

    String guage Corvette $$ 5

I've always been playing on medium light strings on my previous basses (040 - 060 - 080 - 100 - 130). When I bought my Corvette $$ 5 the shop guy told it had that string setting, Black Label Medium Light. I just had them measured and it turned out to be "Medium" (045 - 065 - 085 - 105 -...

    Alt. tuning/string guage?

Hey everyone, new b here. Does anyone tune thier 5 stringers low to high CGCFA#? If so, what string guages do you use? I find a 125 is perfect for the low C but i'm having trouble with the gcfa. Most of the time I buy a six string set and throw out the 105, but the GCFA# strings are too...
