dots

Hi everybody! i got a terrifying question for you all... i was wondering if in a neck with side leds, and no central dots, there might be the possibility of making "dot holes" and see the leds light thru them. i hope that what i wrote is all clear.

Hey guys. I have an '88 THumb NT4 with small dots on the fingerboard face. I have about 200 pics of warwicks on my comp and just noticed that out of all of them i was only able to find 4 Thumbs with the small fboard dots. I saw numerous basses with the other availiable inlays but only four Thumb...
