Hello all, this is going to sound like a bit of a newbie question but I was wondering what the fundamental differences between the Warwick line-up are.
I know all Warwicks have the Warwick "growl" and can come in different wood and pickup configs but I'm a bit confused and I haven't been able...
Again, another question for my plan of buliding a Corvette $$ :-)
I like basses having a deep, growly sound, maybe like the bass here:
(Just listen to Lord Of Illusions).
After having played the $$ in the Musicstore, i really liked it's sound - so, to get a nice growl, with not too...
What is the tonal difference between maple, ash, and alder? I notice there are no ash or alder necks (that I know of) but there are maple, ash, alder bodies.
does anybody have the specs and/or knows the differences in the specs of Fortress Masterman, Fortress One and Fortress R&B?
I know the Fortress One has dual J pick ups in a5 stringer version and P/J in the 4 stringer version. I also know the Masterman has dual J pick ups altogether in one...
Now that I've own/owned and played all the NT thumb basses (4,5,6 string). I've noticed that each of them have a different tone to them. Aside from the fact that they weren't made from the same tree I found that the pickup configuration makes a huge sonic difference in the thumbs tone. I have...
Specifically between the Thumb 4 BO and the Corvette 4 Active Bubinga. So, they're both bolt on, both fretted with the same neck woods, both 4 string, both have similar hardware and 2 pups. They have different pre amps and different (equally valued?) body woods, and different tones. What am I...
I am looking at a Thumb BO 5. I have several ones io have seen but they are all too far away to heva them all together in one place and try them all at once. I know my Thumb BO4 bubinga LTD has the pick ups one in the middle and one in the bridge (very close).
there is a Thumb BO 5 2005 that...
what are the main differences in tone, shape etc.
i know that they have different a head stock, the NT has 2 more frets and the BO is a buttload cheaper haha.
I now have a job so im starting to save up for a "flagship" bass for myself, one that I can settle on for the rest of my life. Since the neck on my proline will feel the same as the three models in question, im really just curious as to what each bass sounds like in comparison to the proline...
Hello everybody, recently I have tested a X-treme 10.1 in my rehearsal place, and fall in love with it.
When I go to music store to buy one, they told me that the only model they can sell me is X-treme 10.2.
I have read in one web site that this last model is made in China, opposite to 10.1...
Hey everyone, I am slightly confused about the different models of Streamers that are offered. I have a corvette STD in a 5 string that recently became FUBAR'd during a show. Fortunately, another player had another 5 string handy - a 5 string Streamer. I loved it. It had a much thinner neck than...
Ok, so far I know these as the main differences:
- Assembled in China
- Regular wood instead of exotic ones (Alder / Maple)
- Electronics
Apart from that all the rest is the same as a true warwick?
