    Is there any way of checking the history of my Fortress as I ordered it in 1998 but have recently noticed the date on the headstock is 1997 and as it was special order I would expect it to be dated 1998. thanks in advance Verb

    date of birth of a Fortress One

    I bought my first Warwick bass a few weeks ago. Congratulations to myself. It is a Fortress one fretless 4-string, with a beautiful sound. It needed some justificatins on action and element hights, but now it plays very smooth. The serial number is L003 530 94. Can anyone tell me more specifics...

    Date a West Germany Warwick

    A friend of mine has an Warwick Streamer LX 5 with s/n F 038976 97 And it stands on the beck of the neck "Made in West Germany" So, what year? 1997? Impossible, the Germany was split into east and west until the reunification in 1990, the fall of the wall, so ?
