we played a benifit today. it was hot and the gig was outside. set started ok, then at the 7th song the singer started talking to the crowd. I walked back to my amp and grabbed a towel and some cold water. wiped my head off, took a big chug of water and then it happen. front straplock let go...

well it been a month or so since I ran up on a bass deal..... well here it is again. a 2 year old BO Thumb 5'er. the guy claims it to be a wenge/wenge neck. $950.00 and of coarse I have little money......................... I asked him about a trade, waiting to hear back...

I have trouble reading quoted text in this forum. It's black on dark grey so it's kinda tough. Perhaps it's just because I use really low brightness/contrast on my screen at night. Anyone else bothered by this? I wonder if the colour scheme can be changed so that it becomes more readable.

After listenin to the compilation CD i would just like to take a moment to say how proud and honoured it makes me feel to be part of such an incredibly diverse community of talented musicians who are willing to listen to and respect each others views. I don't consider myself a forum enthusiast...

The Fortress 5 I got off Ebay arrived! A great deal, and it is in very close to brand new condition. Whoever had this bass before me clearly loved it, and took care of it. Why very close to new? Well the gold MEC printing on the neck position pickup has worn off. Other than that, not a mark...
